Rain washed out Septmeber 6 "Steel Valley Thunder" program

(Hartford, OH)…Persistent rain showers washed out Sharon Speedway’s “Steel Valley Thunder� program on Saturday night for the fourth time since July 19. Officials waited until mid-afternoon hoping for clearing weather conditions per the forecast, but light drizzled continued until 3 p.m. when additional rain showers moved in.

Sharon’s next event is this Friday and Saturday, September 12-13 for the “Apple Festival Nationals�. Stay tuned for more information this week.

Sharon Speedway is owned by the Blaney, Weller, and Kirila Families and is a 3/8-mile dirt track located on Custer-Orangeville Road in Hartford, Ohio near the intersection of Routes 7 & 305.
